Having completed her Bachelors in May 2018, Susannah decided to dive straight into her Masters in PR having done extensive research and given a lot of thought to it. Susannah was drawn to the fast-paced environment that PR has to offer, having initially considered doing journalism.

 

Susannah is interested in all aspects of PR but would have interest particularly, in sports and consumer PR. She is drawn to multiple sectors of PR from issues and crisis management to branding and reputation management. She hopes to start her career with agency work to further develop her PR skills and gain experience in the field.

Dissertation Topic and Overview:  

‘An examination into the management of the Irish Rugby Football Union’s (IRFU) corporate reputation.’ 

Susannah’s dissertation investigates how an organisation as important as the IRFU manages their reputation as well as their corporate identity. Susannah uses the IRFU as her case study while also drawing comparisons from other International Rugby Unions to see how they best manage their reputation. Susannah chose this dissertation topic because of her interest in sports PR.
